What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
• Account Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Close Process: Support the month-end and year-end close processes by assisting with various tasks.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Audit Support: Support external audits by gathering and providing all requested documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress); this is an entry-level position focused on foundational accounting principles.
• Experience: 0–2 years of accounting or relevant internship experience is preferred.
• Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
