As a Geek Squad Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support, knowledge, and solutions for their computers and other devices within the local Best Buy store.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Service: Provide positive and timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Diagnosis: Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, and taking detailed notes.
• Guidance: Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Communication: Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers regarding their service requests.
• Development: Maintain knowledge and skillsets relevant to the role through certified training courses.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Core domain knowledge in technology support and customer interaction.
• Experience: 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Skills: Ability to assess customer needs, perform basic services, partner with other agents on complex repairs, and work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Bonus: Passion for technology and a desire to solve problems, along with the ability to adapt and learn new skills.
