Job Description: Fundraising Intern
Role Title: Fundraising Intern
Location: Remote
Compensation: Unpaid
Time Commitment: 4–6 hours per week
Application Period: Rolling applications for Fall 2025.
Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Research: Identify and research potential grants, corporate sponsors, and various funding opportunities.
• Proposal Development: Assist in the writing and editing of grant applications and sponsorship proposals.
• Donor Relations: Help coordinate donor outreach initiatives, manage follow-ups, and track relationships with donors.
• Campaign Brainstorming: Generate ideas for creative fundraising campaigns and giving drives.
• Data Management: Track incoming donations and contribute to the maintenance of the fundraising dashboard.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a dynamic, youth-led executive team.
• Experience: Gain practical experience in nonprofit operations.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For):
• Passion: Demonstrated passion for healthcare, education equity, or youth empowerment.
• Skills: Strong writing and research abilities are essential.
• Work Ethic: A self-starter who can work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in using tools like Google Sheets.
• Experience Level: No prior fundraising experience is required; a strong willingness to learn is paramount.
