Fund Servicing Associate I | JPMorgan Chase

• Mission: This role enhances operational services for fund accounting and administration, ensuring smooth fund servicing and contributing to process improvements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Fee Setup and Processing: Provide operational support for initial charge and trailer fee setup, including calculations, reporting, and payment processing based on distribution agreements.
• Manage Transaction Settlements: Manage settlement, receipting, and payment processing, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Execute Fund Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of fund receipts against payments and reinvestments, investigating and escalating any breaks or exceptions promptly.
• Support Fund Reporting: Support NAV loading, price runs, and fund reporting for Transfer Agency-supported funds.
• Oversee Operational Compliance: Identify and escalate errors, exceptions, and operational risks while ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, with a foundational understanding of financial services.
• Experience: Up to 5+ years of experience in financial services, with prior experience in Transfer Agency operations or reconciliation, and knowledge of the trade lifecycle.
• Skills: Knowledge of reconciliations, settlements, payments, NAV processing, or fund servicing operations; strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to work accurately in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: A continuous improvement mindset to propose and implement enhancements to working methods, and advanced emotional intelligence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
