Senior Associate | Standish Management, LLC
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Standish Management, LLC. The company specializes in providing fund administration services to Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, including Buy-out, Venture Capital, Real Estate, and Fund-of-Funds. For new General Partners, Standish Management offers consulting services to accelerate fund launches alongside full administration. For established General Partners, the company provides administration and technology to scale fund operations efficiently for entire fund families or select funds. This role is critical in assisting the accounting department’s daily operations and ensuring accurate fund-level financial statement preparation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements for multiple domestic and offshore fund families, including updating investment schedules, allocating partner equity, and analyzing complex investment transactions.
• Performance Analysis: Contribute to the internal semi-annual portfolio review process by analyzing and tracking the financial performance of partnerships and portfolio companies.
• Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in complex partnership agreements.
• Treasury Management: Determine the capital requirements of various partnerships and initiate necessary capital calls to meet those needs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Electronically distribute financial statements, K1s, and notices for capital calls and distributions to Limited Partners, and respond to their ad hoc requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Finance-related field with strong academic performance, demonstrated by a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience: 1-2 years of full-time experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; Knowledge of various investment accounting concepts; Attention to detail; Strong organizational skills and work ethic; Ability to multitask.
• Bonus: Familiarity with QuickBooks.
