• Mission: To maintain the general ledger and records for various investment funds, calculate daily net asset values, and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: The general ledger and records for mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, local government investment pools, and closed-end funds of varying complexity.
• Prepare: Daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, and end-of-day net asset value and mill rate determinations.
• Process: Advisor/portfolio management, corporate action applications, and expense accrual/payment postings.
• Perform: Portfolio pricing analysis/validations and ensure timely internal/external information distributions.
• Collaborate: Partner with various internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodian relationships on compliance, audit, and financials, while ensuring all Fund Accounting functions are in compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience in accounting or finance activities.
• Skills: Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis; ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data.
