Job Title: Frontline Representative, Mercy Physician Exchange and Referral Team
Find your calling at Mercy! We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our 24/7 Physician Exchange and Referral Team. This frontline position is crucial for serving the Mercy and non-Mercy medical community by providing essential communication and referral services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming exchange calls for both Mercy Integrated and non-integrated providers.
- Handle inquiries originating from providers, patients, family members, facilities, and provider offices.
- Provide after-hours emergency call relay services.
- Manage incoming referral calls for individuals seeking a new Mercy Primary Care Provider (PCP) or specialty provider.
- Accurately document patient information.
- Dispatch critical information to on-call providers to ensure prompt medical care.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 year of customer service experience is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Certifications: None.
- Other Skills: Experience with computers and Microsoft Office is preferred.
