This is a full-time internship at SpringHill Suites by Marriott, located in Miami, FL. What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Welcome: Warmly greet all arriving guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Guest Transactions: Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out processes, accurately handling all necessary procedures.
• Support: Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing helpful information and solutions.
• Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately and maintaining clear communication.
• Organization: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the front desk area, contributing to an orderly environment.
• Service Delivery: Provide exceptional customer service at all times, anticipating and responding to guest needs.
• Administration: Perform various administrative tasks to support the overall operational efficiency of the hotel.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with a foundational understanding of hospitality principles and guest service concepts.
• Experience: No specific years required; demonstrated ability in customer interaction is valuable.
• Skills: Phone Etiquette, Customer Service, Communication and interpersonal skills, Basic Computer Literacy, Ability to multitask
• Bonus: Prior experience in a customer-facing role or hospitality setting is a plus.
