Franchise Development Director | BELFOR Franchise Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at BELFOR Franchise Group headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI. BELFOR Franchise Group has rapidly grown to become one of the largest Home Services Franchisors in the World, encompassing 15 distinct brands and nearly 3,000 franchise territories. This critical role directly supports the expansion of the Chem-Dry US footprint, driving forward brand growth by increasing the number of franchisees in our extensive network. The director will play a pivotal part in helping dedicated entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Candidate Progression: Partner with franchise candidates throughout their entire journey, guiding them through the qualification and license granting process, ensuring all requirements are met and necessary documentation is received.
• Lead Management: Manage the full lead generation process from various online and offline sources, including websites and portals, while also networking with franchise consultants to generate leads and manage their candidate flow.
• Sales Operations & Tracking: Utilize franchise sales software to track the comprehensive sales process and manage lead flow, interacting with funding firms, CRM platforms, and mapping programs as needed.
• Communication Strategy: Create and implement content, manage internal and external communications, develop consultant and candidate email blasts and mailings, and oversee all deal announcements.
• Strategic Development & Compliance: Achieve established franchise development goals for activity and results, supporting all franchise development team efforts and initiatives, and adhering to all federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a proven track record of success in closing leads within a sales or development context.
• Experience: Previous experience working with a CRM system is required, along with basic knowledge of Microsoft and Google products, including Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective in both one-on-one interactions and group settings up to several hundred people, including diverse stakeholders like employees, third-party providers, franchisees, and partners. Possess strong organizational and time management abilities, allowing for the efficient handling of multiple tasks and candidates concurrently. Demonstrate analytical and detail-oriented approaches, coupled with a strong work ethic, strategic thinking, and robust executional skills, alongside being a resourceful and creative problem-solver.
• Bonus: Previous work experience in franchise development is preferred.
