Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, North America Reporting | Ralph Lauren

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ralph Lauren, supporting the North America FP&A team within a global leader in the design, marketing, and distribution of premium lifestyle products. The company has a reputation and distinctive image consistently developed over 50 years across an expanding number of products, brands, and international markets. This role is crucial for delivering accurate regional North America reporting and analytics, as well as providing essential financial support to the North America Marketing teams, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic decision-making for the region.

• Mission: To assist with the technical execution of regional North America reporting, consolidation, and detailed data analytics, while also providing financial support and spend tracking for North America Marketing teams.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP (preferred), Hyperion/Essbase (preferred), Tableau (preferred), Power BI (preferred)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Regional Reporting: Generate and maintain the standard North America reporting suite for LRP/Plan, Forecast, and Period-End Close, including P&L models, KPI dashboards, and inventory rollforwards.
• Data Integrity: Lead the technical execution of detailed data scrubbing and analytics to ensure accuracy across all regional reports and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Marketing Finance: Partner with Marketing teams to track actual spend, analyze invoices, validate investments, and assist with month/quarter-end close activities by identifying reclasses and securing accrual support.
• Strategic Partnership: Create partnerships with channel FP&A teams to collect insights, and assist in the creation of monthly and quarterly decks for senior leadership, communicating complex data effectively.
• Expense Oversight: Assist in developing and executing organization-wide T&E reporting, identifying meaningful variance drivers against Forecast and Plan.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, possessing good foundational knowledge of finance/accounting and retail concepts.
• Experience: 1-3 years of Finance, FP&A, and/or Accounting experience, with a preference for multinational or retail company environments.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data consolidation, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint proficiency are essential, alongside strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Bonus: Professional experience with SAP and Hyperion/Essbase; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI); confidence in acting as a finance resource for non-finance partners; and a naturally curious, proactive approach to learning the business model.
