What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Organization: Manage and organize financial and operational data, serving as a reliable resource for teams across accounting, finance, operations, and sales.
• Data Extraction & Modeling: Extract information from internal databases and transform it into standardized Excel models and reporting files with a high degree of accuracy.
• Financial Cycle Contribution: Contribute to the budgeting cycle, recurring forecasts, and longer-range financial outlooks by preparing inputs, validating assumptions, and updating models.
• Data Reconciliation: Compare general ledger activity against internal tracking schedules and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Performance Reporting: Produce routine financial reporting packages while building and maintaining dashboards, KPI reporting, and other performance tracking tools to support business analysis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education in a relevant financial domain.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar field, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel, including tools like Power Query and Power Pivot; strong attention to detail; analytical judgment; proven ability to perform under deadlines and adjust plans to meet changing needs.
• Bonus: CPA preferred.
