FP&A Analyst | Norlee Group (NLG)
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Norlee Group (NLG), located in Jacksonville, Florida. This FP&A Analyst role is crucial for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across the organization. • Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ERP systems, financial reporting software.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist with budgeting: Assist with the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes.
• Prepare financial reports: Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages.
• Analyze financial results: Analyze financial results and explain budget-to-actual and forecast variances.
• Develop financial models: Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with leaders: Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. This is an Early Career role.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and financial modeling; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software; experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools; working knowledge of SQL; knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; experience supporting multiple business units or locations; CPA, CMA, or pursuit of a professional certification.
