Job Description:
This is a position for a current Job Corps student to work within the food services department. The pay is $17.65 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist cooks and cook helpers in preparing student meals according to government and management guidelines.
• Perform clean-up and sanitation duties in food preparation, storage, and dish room areas.
• Ensure adequate food supplies and transfer ingredients to cooking areas as instructed.
• Work at the student snack bar, clean outside areas, and perform other duties as assigned in the Admin Building.
• Must be reliable and willing to work mornings or evenings and some weekends.
Requirements:
• Must be a current Job Corps Center Student.
• Must be a completer and ready for work-based learning.
• Culinary Arts program enrollment is preferred.
• Qualified students will, at a minimum, have their student card.
