The Tone:

The TL;DR

• Mission: To ensure the consistent cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic presentation of all facility floors, contributing to a secure and welcoming healthcare environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Perform comprehensive floor maintenance and care duties across various areas of the healthcare facility during the scheduled evening hours.
• Execute: Operate and proficiently utilize specialized floor care equipment, which may include buffers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners, ensuring their proper function and upkeep.
• Preserve: Systematically clean, strip, wax, and buff different types of floor surfaces, such as tile, vinyl, and other hard flooring, following established best practices for hygiene and appearance.
• Ensure: Diligently ensure that all floor areas are consistently sanitized, free from spills, debris, and potential hazards, thereby supporting a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Adhere: Follow designated work schedules and protocols efficiently, contributing to the overall cleanliness objectives and supporting the environmental services team within the St Mary’s Health Care System.
