First Vice-President, Global | PEAK Capital Management

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PEAK Capital Management, located remotely. PEAK Capital Management is a specialized investment firm focused on multi-asset alternative investment strategies, serving accredited investors, high net worth individuals, and institutional clients globally. This First Vice-President role is critical for leading and expanding the firm’s global growth, driving business development initiatives, and cultivating strategic client relationships. The individual will ensure that all global activities align with the firm’s strong commitment to integrity, disciplined investing, and thoughtful client service, upholding the highest standards of ethics in the investment profession.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Global Strategy: Lead and execute PEAK Capital Management’s comprehensive global growth strategy across key international markets.
• Business Development: Oversee and drive robust business development initiatives, identifying and securing new distribution partnerships for the firm’s alternative investment strategies.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with a diverse range of institutional and high net worth clients, ensuring alignment with investor objectives.
• Market Positioning: Collaborate closely with investment and product teams to refine value propositions and strategically position investment offerings based on thorough market and competitive analysis.
• Firm Representation: Act as a primary representative for the firm at crucial client meetings and prominent industry events, actively contributing to brand-building efforts and maintaining transparent communication.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in global business development, capital raising, or institutional sales within financial services.
• Experience: Proven and substantial experience in global business development, capital raising, or institutional sales specifically within asset management, alternative investments, or related financial services sectors.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities for explaining complex investment ideas; strong capabilities in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development; demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, market analysis, and the execution of go-to-market initiatives for investment products; solid understanding of multi-asset and alternative investment strategies.
• Bonus: An advanced degree such as an MBA or MS Finance, or a professional designation like CFA or CAIA; prior international experience or familiarity with diverse global regulatory and market environments.
