What You’ll Actually Do
• Advisory Support: Support internal financial planning workflows, preparing plan components, analyses, and scenario modeling under supervision.
• Client Service: Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Salesforce, supporting account opening preparation and planning-related service workflows.
• Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing client meeting materials, conduct research for case preparation, and observe live client meetings when appropriate.
• Professional Development: Participate in structured development sessions focusing on financial planning fundamentals, communication skills, and advisor career readiness.
• Strategic Contribution: Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, such as client experience improvements or process optimization efforts, and participate in weekly intern cohort meetings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 (entering final year of undergraduate study at the time of internship). This is an early career role.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership, initiative, or involvement in academic or extracurricular activities; ability to learn and apply financial planning software and office systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; effective written and verbal communication skills; professional presence and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Bonus: Strong interest in pursuing the CFP® designation and a long-term career in wealth management.
