What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements as required by the fund.
• Disclosure Drafting: Draft financial statement footnote disclosure and prepare financial highlight disclosures, including total returns and expense ratio analysis.
• Regulatory Reporting: Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports, such as Form PF and Form SLT.
• Accuracy Verification: Perform analysis of financial statements to verify accuracy against accounting records.
• Audit Support: Maintain audit support schedules throughout the year and contribute to strong relationships with internal parties, clients, regulators, and audit firms.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 9 accounting credits.
• Experience: Not specified in years, but relevant accounting internship experience is desirable.
• Skills: Good communication skills, working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Bonus: Relevant accounting internship experience in an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, or Fund Administrator. Experience working in a Fund Administrator, Mutual Fund, or other financial institution where financial products knowledge has been gained. Previous financial statement preparation experience.
