Assistant Manager – TPM | PepsiCo

This position is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely management of trade promotion payments and deductions, playing a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across sales and finance functions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Management: Process and reconcile all payment and deduction invoices, meticulously monitoring stakeholder approvals and their timeliness to ensure compliance and efficiency. You will also ensure the delivery of accurate and timely payment data, consistently meeting agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
• Trade Spend Analysis: Conduct thorough invoice analysis, breaking down data by segmentation to gain insights, and ensure the timely closure of post-payment tactics, actively managing trade spend within designated accounts.
• Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate potential financial risks and opportunities to internal teams, including Sales, Control, and Finance, while also managing expectations through clear verbal and written interactions with these departments.
• Pricing and Funding Validation: Validate all tactic pricing against established pricing grids to identify and resolve any discrepancies in accruals and invoice payments, alongside diligently tracking vendor funding for vendors.
• Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvements and simplifications for existing processes, drive the standardization of reporting practices, and ensure the optimal use of technology to achieve automation goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance.
• Experience: Bring 3-5 years of experience in a Finance or Sales environment.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in working with large data sets, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and superior organizational and prioritization abilities. Additionally, you must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree is considered a significant advantage, and prior experience with a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is preferred.
