Financial Management Program Internship | GE HealthCare

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal/Temporary (Summer Program)
• Location: Hybrid, Chicago, IL

• Mission: Provide challenging financial projects and assignments to offer broad exposure to various finance functions, helping to develop technical and leadership skills.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Contribution: Contribute to a key finance project that supports business goals and builds technical and leadership capabilities.
• Objective Partnership: Partner with business teams to understand project objectives and develop a plan to deliver results.
• Project Execution: Own the day-to-day execution of the project with guidance from an Assignment Leader.
• Outcome Presentation: Present outcomes and key learnings to stakeholders and program leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university, currently a Sophomore or Junior, with an expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028. Must be majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during Summer 2027 and willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL for the summer, accepting provided relocation stipend and corporate housing. Ability to work within a hybrid setting. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills relevant to a corporate finance environment.
• Bonus: Demonstrated interest in a corporate finance career and strong academic performance, shown by a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively in a team environment, and possess initiative, adaptability, and a growth mindset are also preferred.
