Senior Banker – Johnston-Willis Financial Center | Bank of America

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bank of America, located in Virginia, USA. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time, 1st shift, 40 hours per week
• Location: In-person, Virginia, USA
• Pay: $25.97–$31.75 hourly
• Mission: Serve as the primary contact for clients, uncover personal banking needs, offer solutions, and connect clients to specialists to deepen relationships.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft applications, laptop technology

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for financial center clients to uncover personal banking needs for individuals and small businesses.
• Solution Provision: Offer appropriate financial solutions and connect clients to specialists to address their unique life priorities.
• Client Support: Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions through self-service technologies.
• Relationship Deepening: Proactively connect with clients through outbound calls and consistent follow-up routines to strengthen relationships.
• Operational Compliance: Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines for activities such as opening accounts, account maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent, with a focus on relationship-oriented and client-centric sales.
• Experience: Minimum of one year demonstrated sales experience in a client-centric environment. Ability to obtain a commissioned notary in the state of work within a few months of the start date.
• Skills: Active Listening, Strong Written and Verbal Communications, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, Effective Time Management, Relationship Building.
• Bonus: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field. Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded. Knowledge of banking products and services. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
