The Tone:

This role is fundamental to the finance team, supporting the Senior Finance Manager by capturing and analyzing critical financial data. The Analyst will play a key part in the budget and forecasting process, provide essential business analysis, and report on Mark Anthony Brewing’s procurement performance, contributing directly to the company’s operational objectives and cost management. This position is encouraged to proactively improve business processes, helping to unearth the extraordinary.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Identify and provide detailed analysis on the financial drivers of Supply Chain raw material and packaging expenses and variances.
• Prepare: Prepare accurate journal entries and ensure financial impacts to the business are correctly accounted for each month as part of month-end close responsibilities.
• Partner: Collaborate closely with key Supply Chain stakeholders to understand the underlying drivers behind procurement performance and MAB Supply Chain Goals.
• Manage: Own the budget and forecasting process for raw materials and packaging, including productivity tracking and price list management.
• Refine: Refine and enhance existing financial reports to improve business processes and provide valuable ad hoc analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting is required. This is an early career position suitable for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience: Candidates should possess 0-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role. Strong proficiency using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is essential for this position, enabling effective data management and analysis.
• Skills: Critical skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently. The role requires comfort handling large amounts of data and the ability to discern the big picture implications.
• Bonus: Prior experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
