Financial Analyst – Structured Finance | Atlanticus

The Structured Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the company’s funding strategy through accurate investor reporting, portfolio analysis, and compliance with structured finance transactions, making this role essential to our continued growth and mission.

• Team: Structured Finance team, working with cross-functional teams across FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Operations.
• Mission: This role supports the company’s funding strategy through accurate investor reporting, portfolio analysis, and compliance with structured finance transactions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, data analysis)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Daily, monthly, and quarterly investor reports for asset-backed securitization transactions.
• Interpret: Securitization legal agreements to ensure reporting complies with transaction requirements.
• Reconcile: Gather, validate, and reconcile financial and operational data from multiple systems, identifying and resolving reporting issues.
• Manage: Perform monthly close activities for investor portfolios and monitor/reconcile investor bank accounts.
• Analyze: Portfolio performance to identify trends, investigate reporting variances, and develop ad hoc analyses and reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, and data analysis; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely; ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet time-sensitive deadlines; highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
