Financial Analyst, Sales Finance – Away From Home | Kraft Heinz

The Tone:

This role is crucial for assisting the Away From Home Finance Team in managing finance processes, providing essential information and guidance on various financial rituals and routines, including PVM analysis, monthly performance reviews, financial reviews, and forecasting. The Financial Analyst will support ad-hoc requests and analysis to ensure data availability and accessibility for informed decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Develop and present well-founded business cases to support strategic initiatives and investments.
• Evaluate: Assist in the development and evaluation of price levels to maximize margins and competitiveness.
• Optimize: Contribute to portfolio optimization by assisting in streamlining products.
• Analyze: Analyze channel, customer, and product mix, and develop measures to increase overall profitability, providing recommendations on pricing and margin optimization.
• Report: Provide stakeholders with insights into P&L performance and trends, identify levers for improvement, and create KPI and project reporting for senior leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative field.
• Experience: Internship in Finance, Accounting, or similar experience, with commercial P&L knowledge.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and comfort using data and insights to influence, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: Familiarity with data-visualization tools (Tableau), EPM systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle), experience with syndicated sales data (NPD, IRI, Nielsen) tools, comfort with ambiguity, self-starter, and inquisitive.
