This role is crucial for supporting Research Operations by providing accurate financial analyses, effective reporting, and insightful financial advice, directly contributing to the mission of transforming cancer care and personalizing treatment for patients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting: Develop departmental budgets and analyze variances using historical data and trends.
• Forecasting: Develop accurate forecasting models to predict financial outcomes.
• Reporting: Prepare the Monthly Operating Report for executive management, supported by appropriate data.
• Financial Modeling: Interpret contract language to independently build financial models that conform to agreement details.
• Performance Communication: Design reports that effectively communicate performance, identify issues, and contribute to better management decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required; core domain knowledge in healthcare, clinical research, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience: 3+ years’ work experience in a similar role; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts; understanding of business models and performance metrics related to healthcare research; knowledge of statistical principles, calculations, and applications.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree preferred.
