What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Variances: Review manufacturing variances to verify the accuracy of bills of material, production rates, and standard costs.
• Coordinate Audits: Support the coordination of the plant financial audit and ensure adherence to all accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare Reconciliations: Generate required general ledger account reconciliations and perform detailed spending analyses.
• Maintain Fixed Assets: Manage the fixed asset records for the plant, which includes project accounting, and assist with property tax audits.
• Support Budgeting: Aid in the preparation of plant budgets and financial statements, contributing to accurate financial reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional and diversified experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Skills: Proficient in SAP and MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel, including the ability to use array formulas, pivot tables, and conduct financial modeling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate and influence across all organizational levels. Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail are also required.
• Bonus: Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S4, an MBA or other advanced degree, CPA or CMA certification, and/or corporate and manufacturing industry experience.
