Financial Analyst | IKO North America
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at IKO North America, located in various plant locations. IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials, operating globally with Canadian roots. This role is crucial for delivering financial insights, supporting accurate reporting, and contributing to operational efficiency within IKO’s manufacturing plants. The Financial Analyst will ensure the accuracy of plant financial results and develop strong analytical and business partnering skills within the manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage month-end close and reporting for assigned plants, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and variance analysis.
• Partner with plant management to provide financial insights and analysis, linking operational data to financial outcomes for process improvement.
• Support the development and reporting of manufacturing product costs, validating Bills of Material and raw material usage data for cost accuracy.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) while supporting annual planning and forecasting processes.
• Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional projects to deepen understanding of plant operations and costing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, with working knowledge of cost accounting, management accounting, budgeting concepts, and accounting standards (IFRS and/or GAAP).
• Experience: 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (JDE preferred), intermediate to advanced Excel skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with finance and operations teams.
• Bonus: MBA preferred, CPA, CMA, or equivalent designation preferred or in progress.
