What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Provide meaningful insights by analyzing financial and operational data related to business performance.
• Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and perform related analyses.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify the key drivers impacting revenue, expenses, profitability, and overall performance.
• Close Support: Support month-end and year-end close processes through financial reporting and account analysis activities.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate business trends, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional. Core domain knowledge includes financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes, specifically within a business or manufacturing environment.
• Experience: Experience working with financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes within a business or manufacturing setting. Knowledge of month-end close procedures, accrual-based accounting, and financial statement review.
• Skills: Ability to perform variance analysis, including cost, margin, and manufacturing-related performance comparisons. Strong analytical skills to identify trends, interpret data, and recommend cost-saving opportunities. Effective communication skills, including the ability to lead presentations and collaborate across teams. Familiarity with audit support activities, budget processes, and the use of accounting systems. Capacity to manage multiple assignments and contribute to special projects with minimal supervision.
