TRAIL Rising Leaders Program – Capital Markets | Newrez
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 18-month leadership-development program for recent college graduates at Newrez, a company dedicated to making home happen through residential mortgage services. The organization brings together thinkers and doers to provide superior service, simple processes, and clear communication to residential mortgage borrowers and business partners. This role is crucial for strengthening the future leadership of the company by building a foundation in process improvement, presentation, and leadership skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Complete accurate data deliveries to Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSE’s).
• Market Operations: Handle interest rate lock requests and extensions while managing the lock pipeline with investors.
• Financial Oversight: Manage warehouse funding lines and work cross-functionally with various origination channels and financial departments.
• Business Analysis: Perform business analyses and provide recommendations to leadership for process changes.
• Leadership Development: Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions through assigned duties and training.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university for recent college graduates, legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: Entry-level role designed to gain practical, on-the-job leadership and management skills within Capital Markets.
• Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, relationship development, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau (charts, graphs, pivot tables, formulas, macros etc.); ability to adapt and learn new tools, techniques, and business concepts; strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with PowerPoint and Visio; an entrepreneurial business mindset.
