Senior Investor Services Analyst | Gen II Fund Services
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Gen II Fund Services, located in New York, NY with a hybrid work arrangement. Gen II Fund Services is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, administering over $1 trillion in private capital for its clients across 14 offices. This role is crucial for supporting the investor relations and accounting functions of mid-market private equity clients. The position primarily focuses on the vital data collection and reporting necessary for limited partner financial reporting and portfolio company financial information.

What You’ll Actually Do
• LP Data Fulfillment: Complete all quarterly data reporting requests from Limited Partners, encompassing near-term cash flow projections, portfolio company operating and valuation metrics, capital account metrics, operational due diligence, and ESG/DEI questionnaires by extracting data from Novata.
• Fundraising Assistance: Assist with data-based fundraising requests, which are similar in nature to routine quarterly requests.
• Quarterly Report Management: Oversee the quarterly reporting process, including uploading cash flows and financials to ilevel, managing investment team input into Quarterly Reports, inputting fund financial information, and managing the approval processes involving legal, finance, and compliance.
• Cash Flow File Maintenance: Maintain and regularly update the master cash flow file for all alternative fund vehicles.
• Capital Event Support: Assist with the preparation and processing of capital call and distribution notices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a private equity-related accounting or reporting role.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, excellent written communication, and excellent verbal communication.
