Financial Analyst Intern | Westinghouse

This intern role is vital in supporting one of the Financial Planning & Analysis teams, directly contributing to the company’s mission through essential financial reporting and analysis.

• Team: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting to the FP&A Manager
• Mission: Provide support for monthly reporting, analysis, and business planning within a corporate or operational FP&A setting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Closing Support: Support the monthly closing process for the organization’s books and records.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports and analyze variances following monthly and quarterly financial closes.
• Business Planning: Assist in building detailed support schedules and gathering planning information to aid the annual business plan.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent field. This role is for an early career professional.
• Experience: Must have completed their junior year of college.
• Skills: Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
