Job Description: Finance Intern (Summer 2025)
Eataly is seeking a Finance Intern for the summer of 2025 to join its Finance team. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the intern will:
• Support the FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team: This involves analyzing operating expenses, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and contributing to improved expense control.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable: Duties include collecting invoices, allocating charges, and ensuring accurate month-end accruals.
• Assist in financial analysis: The intern will support decision-making related to existing store performance and planning for new store openings.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities: Proactively seeking and recommending ways to reduce expenses across various categories.
• Prepare reports and dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track expense trends, accruals, and key financial metrics.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects: Assist with various projects as needed and provide insights for leadership presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned: Complete additional tasks as required.
Internship Details:
• Dates: June – August 2025
• Location: Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY.
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, approximately 9 am – 6 pm.
• Compensation: $16.50 per hour. Housing and transportation are the responsibility of the intern.
