Financial Analyst | Siemens Energy

The Tone:
This is a Financial Analyst role at Siemens Energy, located in the United States. Siemens Energy develops future energy systems, ensuring that the growing energy demand of the global community is met reliably and sustainably. In this role, you will provide essential financial support for business opportunities, covering sales calculations, financial content, and risk management, directly contributing to the company’s focus on low-emission power generation and decarbonization efforts.

• Mission: Provide financial support for business opportunities related to sales calculations, financial content, terms & conditions, and risk and opportunity management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Calculations: Support and execute sales calculations and related processes, aligning with Organization, Bid Management, Sales, and Regional Entities.
• Financial Implementation: Implement concepts concerning taxes, currency management, guarantees, financing, and review terms & conditions.
• Risk Management: Support and engage in risk management activities, including identification, mitigation, and calculation of risks.
• Content Approval: Provide input and support to achieve approval quality for all financial content.
• Interdepartmental Support: Act as a direct counterpart and support resource for technical Bid Managers and Financial Sales teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor, Apprenticeship, or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financing, controlling, sales, bid management, project management, or product cost.
• Skills: Solid understanding of financial processes, strong analytical capabilities, excellent time management with focus on quality and accuracy, and fluent English skills.
• Bonus: Motivation, initiative, results orientation, good networking, communication, and team skills.
