Financial Analyst II | Osaic
The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Osaic, located in Scottsdale, AZ, requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Osaic is a financial services company, and this position supports the financial performance of various departments within the Operations and Technology solutions group. The Financial Analyst II will play a critical part in providing essential financial insights, supporting business unit leaders, and driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role directly impacts the company’s strategic initiatives, profitability, and operational efficiency through detailed analysis, guidance, and the implementation of robust financial management practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work closely with business unit leaders to understand their specific financial needs, challenges, and opportunities, offering financial guidance to drive decision-making, performance improvement, and effective cost management.
• Analyze: Conduct detailed analysis of financial performance against key business metrics, providing actionable insights into financial trends and operational performance to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Plan: Actively participate in the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, supporting various departments within the Operations and Technology solutions group.
• Report: Prepare and present comprehensive financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that support strategic initiatives, while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Improve: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance Business Support function, leveraging technology and automation to streamline financial planning and reporting processes and ensure robust internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in an FP&A, finance, or business analysis role, with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a deadline-oriented work environment.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analysis, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with financial reporting and general ledger applications, acute attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree, prior financial services industry experience (wealth management, investment management, broker-dealer, insurance, banking, specialty finance), and experience with Workday Financials.
