• Team: Reports to a business unit management team, serving as corporate finance’s point of contact for an assigned region.
• Mission: To prepare, coordinate, and document forward-looking financial projects, provide analytical support, and present findings to management for U.S. Warehouse Operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, large information and accounting systems
What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts, analyses, and reports for the assigned business unit management team.
• Budget Management: Support the development of the unit’s annual budget, meticulously track and analyze variances throughout the year, and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide insightful analyses and recommendations based on financial data and other pertinent information to improve operations and resource allocation.
• Sales Support: Work collaboratively with business managers to prepare accurate sales commission documents and effectively track results.
• Operational Improvement: Identify issues, suggest courses of action, and make recommendations for improving operations and resource allocation, supporting and directing implementation of these improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required, with a strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Experience: 2 years of financial analysis experience, including proficiency with large information and accounting systems, and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and data management.
• Skills: Strong overall business acumen with a common-sense approach to issues, excellent communication and presentation skills capable of translating complex analytical data into easily understandable formats, and strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Bonus: Report writing experience is preferred.
