Financial Analyst – Digital FP&A | Lowe’s Companies, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Lowe’s Companies, Inc., located at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Lowe’s is a FORTUNE® 100 home improvement company employing approximately 300,000 associates across over 1,750 stores and numerous distribution centers. As a Financial Analyst, you will serve as a crucial financial subject matter expert, partnering with business units to convert complex plans into actionable forecasts and budgets. Your analysis and recommendations will directly contribute to optimizing business performance and supporting core company focus areas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Planning Support: Maintain templates, systems, and other tools essential for developing quarterly forecast updates, annual plans, and long-range plans (2-3 years) for Senior and Lead Analysts.
• Performance Tracking: Complete updates of operating, program, and business unit scorecards, and assist Senior and Lead Analysts in updating commentary and analysis for these reports.
• Analytical Data Compilation: Compile data necessary to perform root cause analysis, test & learn initiatives, and financial modeling, while supporting Senior and Lead Analysts in conducting these analyses.
• Operational Improvement: Complete assigned tasks by applying current subject area expertise, utilizing knowledge of policies, data, and resources, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve business issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Professional Growth: Pursue personal development and cultivate effective relationships by openly sharing information, seeking performance feedback, and adapting to and learning from organizational changes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
• Experience: 1 Year Experience in a finance or analytical role within a public company or accounting firm.
• Skills: Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Providing analytical support.
• Bonus: 3 Years Experience in a finance or analytical role within a public company/accounting firm, experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Corporate Accounting, experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Superset, Microstrategy, Qlik, and/or experience with analytical tools like Python, R, SAS, Adobe, Alteryx, or Knime.
