This is a full-time internship at Butterball, located in Garner, NC. Butterball, LLC is one of America’s most iconic brands, known for its turkey products enjoyed daily and for celebrations globally. This role contributes to the company’s financial operations, supporting its mission to provide great-tasting food and inspire meaningful moments. The internship aims to develop future leaders by offering professional growth within the processing and manufacturing industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Report Creation: Develop ad-hoc reports to support business needs and departmental collaboration.
• Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to inform financial decisions and departmental understanding.
• Financial Reconciliation: Assist with data reconciliation and help prepare monthly financial summaries.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects, including variance reporting or inventory analysis.
• Process Improvement: Analyze internal workflows to gain understanding and help identify opportunities for improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Experience: Expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029, with demonstrated participation in extracurricular activities.
• Skills: Strong technical skills, effective communication skills, personal integrity, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Bonus: Demonstrated strong academic performance, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a leadership role in extracurricular activities is preferred.
