Financial Analyst | KIK Consumer Products

The Tone:

This Financial Analyst role is critical for analyzing cost and inventory to identify saving opportunities across the Household Division and performing various essential accounting activities at the divisional level, supporting timely fact-based decision-making.

• Mission: Analyze cost and inventory for saving opportunities across the Household Division and perform various accounting activities at the divisional level to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Savings Identification: Analyze and calculate potential areas of cost savings within manufacturing processes across the Household Division.
• Inventory Analysis: Analyze and report on inventory levels and all associated variances, providing insights into divisional performance.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, which includes reviewing and thoroughly explaining all spend variances.
• Financial Close Procedures: Perform general ledger close-out duties and execute necessary reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Management Reporting: Prepare periodic management reports along with all accompanying schedules for various stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Experience: Bring 2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance areas. This experience should encompass supporting budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
• Skills: Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and proven experience using ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) to effectively analyze financial data and generate reports. Exhibit strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective written, verbal, and presentation skills. Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Bonus: Preference for candidates with experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environment.
