The Tone:
This is a full-time role at D.R. This Financial Analyst role is crucial for supporting strategic decision-making by delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, directly contributing to the company’s financial health and growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to support reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, highlighting key variances, trends, and risks to leadership.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, pricing strategies, and potential investments.
• Planning & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, long-range plans, and periodic reforecasts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to reconcile financial data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment of financial assumptions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; possessing a solid understanding of P&L, cash flow, and financial statement structure.
• Experience: Two to five years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles; experience within the homebuilding or real estate industry is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs quickly; demonstrated excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities; strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally; capability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems; holding an MBA or CPA certification.
