What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial reports, internal reports, variances, and trends to identify key insights and recommend actions to management.
• Data Management: Maintain and reconcile divisional data, ensuring information is entered accurately, verified properly, and consistently aligned with internal reporting needs.
• Accounts Payable Support: Collaborate closely with accounts payable to help ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and vendor obligations.
• Banking & Cash Reporting: Manage and assist with banking relationships, reporting requirements, and related financial documentation.
• Property Tax Tracking: Maintain property tax accounts, projections, payments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, or a closely related finance function.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and communicate key findings effectively to management. Proven capacity to manage, reconcile, and accurately verify divisional financial data.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, comfort working with multiple priorities, and effective communication for presenting financial insights.
• Bonus: Prior industry experience within homebuilding, real estate development, or construction is a strong preference. Proficiency with Excel, various reporting tools, and financial systems is also highly valued.
