Financial Analyst | Pursuit Aerospace

This Financial Analyst position is vital in supporting the company’s financial health and strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis. What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecast Consolidation: Consolidate site forecasts of Sales, Operating Profit, and EBITDA to provide a unified financial outlook.
• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for senior management, highlighting key performance deviations.
• Planning Support: Support annual and long-range planning activities, contributing to the strategic financial direction of the company.
• Performance Analysis: Perform financial analysis of operational and company key metrics to identify trends and inform business decisions.
• Executive Package Assistance: Assist with monthly consolidation and the preparation of executive financial packages for leadership review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, providing a foundational understanding of core financial principles.
• Experience: At least 2 years of finance experience, with demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and financial modeling. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future and perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheet and modeling skills at a macro level, along with proficiency in PowerPoint presentations and other Microsoft tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills, strong initiative, and ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through.
• Bonus: Experience with Hyperion Planning program or Syteline, Epicor, Visual Mfg. ERPs. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and prior aerospace/manufacturing experience are preferred. Ability to work autonomously, build effective relationships across functions, influence decisions, and possess resilience to pressure and adaptability to changing work scope.
