What You’ll Actually Do
• Modeling: Creates and explains financial models or analyses, ensuring accuracy through necessary updates and documentation.
• Improvement: Suggests and implements process improvements to benefit the greater team and operational efficiency.
• Communication: Clearly communicates financial issues to teammates and internal/external customers.
• Information Gathering: Communicates with various departments and subject matter experts to understand business transactions, project risks, and investments.
• Collaboration: Works in collaboration with business units to assess industry/market trends, commodity pricing, regulatory strategies, and prepare financial comparative data for decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience focused on financial and operational functions.
• Experience: Professional experience in finance, accounting, banking, or a relevant field, ranging from 0-2 years for a Financial Analyst I, 2-4 years for a Financial Analyst II, and 3-5 years for a Financial Analyst III.
• Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of financial theory and valuation; ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects; and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: MBA, CPA, CFA, PE or similar certificates/licenses.
