• Mission: Support the hospital’s financial operations, budgeting, and decision-making processes to ensure financial health and strategic growth.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including revenue and expense tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting for the hospital.
• Report: Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, distributing them to management and stakeholders.
• Budget: Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets, assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial planning.
• Optimize: Analyze cost structures, identify opportunities for cost containment and efficiency improvements, and provide recommendations to reduce expenses.
• Model: Build financial models to support strategic decision-making, such as capital investment analysis and service line profitability.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree Required in a relevant field.
• Experience: 2 years of Financial Analysis Experience, preferably acquired within a healthcare setting.
• Skills: Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost analysis, financial modeling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Bonus: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA®) National Board of Surgical Technology Preferred, CPA preferred.
