What You’ll Actually Do
Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to perform detailed financial analysis for large-scale real estate development projects, supporting strategic business decisions.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Prepare comprehensive financial presentations and reports for investors, lenders, management, and other project stakeholders.
Investment & Underwriting Support: Model investment fund waterfalls and promote structures for real estate transactions, while assisting with the underwriting of investment funds and equity partnerships.
Strategic & Public Financing Initiatives: Support acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and public financing initiatives, such as Opportunity Zone Funds and Municipal Utility Districts, through financial analysis and project management.
Market Research: Gather and analyze market research, industry trends, and competitive intelligence from internal and external sources to inform investment evaluations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 in accounting coursework.
• Experience: At least one year of professional experience in financial analysis, real estate analysis, commercial real estate development, acquisitions, or underwriting.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including macros and advanced functions); strong grasp of financial analysis, investment return metrics, and quantitative modeling; adeptness in Microsoft PowerPoint; excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bonus: Prior experience in real estate, private equity, or investment banking; familiarity with Argus software.
