Finance Specialist / Office Admin / Financial Admin Specialist

This is an entry-level position focused on financial administrative tasks within a direct banking client environment.

Location & Duration:

  • Location: Onsite in Pensacola, FL
  • Duration: Long-term ongoing with no end date

Pay Rate:

$17/hr W2

Eligibility:

US CITIZENS / Green Card Holders / EAD Holders ONLY

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, processing, and resolving Certificate, Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA), and Payable on Death (POD) requests from members, contact center, and branch. A key aspect of the role involves identifying suspicious or fraudulent activity, placing holds, and reporting/providing necessary documentation for review.

Required Skill Sets:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience working effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and use good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Effective organizational, planning, problem-solving, and time management skills

Day-to-Day Operations / Responsibilities:

The selected candidate can expect to perform the following duties, with additional tasks potentially added based on business needs (training will be provided for new duties):

  • Process and place holds on deposited checks
  • Review, add, and edit beneficiaries on member accounts
  • Complete certificate maturity instructions
  • Open and close certificate products
