Finance Specialist / Office Admin / Financial Admin Specialist
This is an entry-level position focused on financial administrative tasks within a direct banking client environment.
Location & Duration:
- Location: Onsite in Pensacola, FL
- Duration: Long-term ongoing with no end date
Pay Rate:
$17/hr W2
Eligibility:
US CITIZENS / Green Card Holders / EAD Holders ONLY
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, processing, and resolving Certificate, Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA), and Payable on Death (POD) requests from members, contact center, and branch. A key aspect of the role involves identifying suspicious or fraudulent activity, placing holds, and reporting/providing necessary documentation for review.
Required Skill Sets:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and use good judgment to make sound decisions
- Effective organizational, planning, problem-solving, and time management skills
Day-to-Day Operations / Responsibilities:
The selected candidate can expect to perform the following duties, with additional tasks potentially added based on business needs (training will be provided for new duties):
- Process and place holds on deposited checks
- Review, add, and edit beneficiaries on member accounts
- Complete certificate maturity instructions
- Open and close certificate products
