Finance Manager – FP&A & Special Projects | Molson Coors Beverage Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors, located in Etobicoke, ON. The company is actively transforming the beverage industry with its diverse portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands. This position is crucial for providing comprehensive finance support for the Canadian business. It also involves spearheading strategic projects to contribute directly to the organization’s future direction and success.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Hybrid – Work schedule Monday through Thursday in office, Friday work from home
• Location: Hybrid – Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada
• Pay: $89900–$118000 yearly
• Team: Canada Commercial Finance team; reports to the Senior Manager – FP&A; oversees two Global Business Services (GBS) employees.
• Mission: Provide finance support for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the Canadian business, while also spearheading strategic projects for the CFO.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Power BI, O9, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, consolidation, financial reporting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly reports with the Molson Coors Canada Leadership Team and coordinate results and analytics with the Corporate Finance team.
• Strategic Projects: Quarterback several strategic finance projects in close alignment with senior leadership, spanning commercial spend analysis, investment ROI, and cost savings.
• System & Tool Development: Spearhead the creation of regional & channel P&Ls and new Power BI tools, ensuring adoption by general managers, and support enterprise system transformation efforts.
• Leadership & Influence: Lead finance discussions on business performance and strategic priorities in senior leadership forums, driving change and influencing others.

The Must-Haves
• Background: CPA (or equivalent) designation or in the process of attaining one; CFA or Masters/MBA with relevant experience also considered. At least 4+ years of senior financial analyst or manager-level experience.
• Experience: 4+ years of senior financial analyst or manager-level experience. Proficiency with financial software like SAP, Power BI, and O9.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, ability to quickly grasp new systems and tools, apply accounting principles and internal controls, and drive change.
• Bonus: Positive and energetic attitude, strong contribution to a collaborative work culture, and effective usage of AI for daily task productivity.
