Finance Management Summer Analyst Program – 2027 | Bank of America

• Mission: Introduce summer analysts to the overall financial management of Bank of America, encompassing financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, and financial planning and analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in a 10-week internship experience focusing on financial and management accounting, corporate and strategic finance, and internal treasury functions within the CFO Group.
• Analyze: Forecast financial and non-financial trends, develop comprehensive financial models, and perform in-depth financial analysis of business investments.
• Support: Provide support for internal financial planning and management accounting functions across various teams within the CFO Group.
• Communicate & Improve: Present financial data and analysis to business partners, while also evaluating opportunities for process improvements across the CFO Group.
• Network & Learn: Take a proactive approach to learning, building upon academic foundations in technical skills and industry knowledge, and network with finance executives and key stakeholders to cultivate meaningful relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated (4+1) degree program, with a final graduation date between November 2027 and August 2028. Common areas of study include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Analytics, or Information Systems with a finance focus.
• Experience: Basic financial and accounting knowledge, including an understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, previous internships, or academic projects.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, data analysis), effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and adaptability with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
