Finance Management Analyst Program – 2027 | Bank of America
The Tone:
This is a full-time developmental program at Bank of America, likely located in Charlotte, NC. Bank of America is a global financial institution that provides a diverse range of banking and nonbanking financial services and products domestically and internationally in more than 35 countries. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group, which this program introduces, is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, and strategic financial planning. This rotational program is foundational for developing talented individuals who will contribute to these critical functions, ultimately helping to make the financial lives of customers and clients better.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Proactively acquire in-depth knowledge of the bank’s products, strategies, culture, and CFO Group priorities to understand operational excellence and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Analyze: Forecast financial and non-financial trends, develop robust financial models, and perform critical financial analysis of business investments and performance.
• Support: Contribute to internal financial planning, management accounting functions, and various CFO functional areas through project work, research, and daily activities.
• Present: Clearly articulate and present complex financial data and analytical findings to internal business partners and key stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop: Cultivate meaningful relationships by networking with finance executives and the FMAP alumni network, and advance leadership skills by leading or participating in projects and committees.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, candidates currently pursuing an undergraduate or accelerated (4+1) degree from an accredited institution, with a final graduation date between November 2026 and August 2027. Common areas of study include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Analytics, or Information systems (with a finance focus).
• Experience: Basic financial and accounting knowledge, including an understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting, complemented by leadership experience gained through student organizations, internships, or academic projects.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (encompassing basic formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis), effective written and verbal communication, the ability to collaborate in a team environment, and adaptability with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Bonus: A preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher. Please note that Bank of America is unable to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship now, or in the future, for this specific role.
