Job Description

This is a Paid 6-month Internship within the Finance teams at Amazon, located in Milan. The role is designed to give interns an opportunity to understand business decision-making processes by gathering insights and shaping the company’s future.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Be involved in the preparation of month-end closing activities.
• Be responsible for the maintenance and further development of management reporting.
Track performance metrics, analyze data, and build financial models to identify ways to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Contribute to cost-effectiveness and variance analyses.
• Work on specific and cross-divisional issues to help the business deliver the best to customers.
Build trusted partnerships with the business to influence tactical and strategic decisions that promote business improvements and cost reductions.

Your Paid 6-month Internship Includes:
Mentorship: Projects are assigned based on interests, and interns have access to unlimited virtual training on project management, personal branding, communication skills, and more.
Involvement: Opportunities to join over 13 Amazon Affinity Groups (e.g., sustainability, diversity, LGBTQ+, mental/physical disabilities, local community initiatives).
Career Ownership: A successful internship could lead to a full-time (graduate) role after finishing university studies.

Basic Qualifications:
• Available to commence an internship between January and December 2025 (flexible start dates).
• Available for 6 months, full-time (40 hours/week).
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, with an anticipated graduation date after the completion of the internship.
Fluent written and verbal communication in English (Level – C1 or higher).
Fluent written and verbal communication in Italian (Level – B2 or higher).
• Must be based in Milan for the duration of the internship. A relocation package may be offered based on eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Studies within Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or similar fields.
