Finance Internship – remote Opportunity (Summer 2025)
Job Description:
The Bimbo Bakeries USA Finance Internship offers a paid opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced environment. Interns will participate in projects designed to develop their skills in strategic project management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership. This remote internship will support the Corporate Finance Department in various tasks, including:
• Period Close Support: Assisting with the period close process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
• Annual Planning and Forecasting: Contributing to annual planning and forecasting activities, including data input using Hyperion Planning, coordinating forecasting assumptions, and preparing presentations for leadership.
• Variance Analysis and Reporting: Preparing reports detailing business changes where results deviate from plan, prior year, or forecast, providing detailed explanations of variances.
• Financial Reporting and Forecast Packages: Analyzing monthly results and supporting the preparation of financial reporting and forecast packages using various system applications.
• Financial Modeling and Ad Hoc Reporting: Assisting in the development of decision support financial modeling and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Zero to two years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and accounting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-tasking environment.
• US residency or Green Card required.
Salary Range: $18-20 per hour.
