What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Support the comprehensive monthly and forecast financial reporting processes, meticulously consolidating actual financial results and future projections to ensure accuracy for stakeholders.
• Variance Analysis: Assist with in-depth financial analysis and detailed variance analysis, providing critical insights that support informed business decision-making across the division.
• Data Interpretation: Work hands-on with various finance systems and tools, including Excel, Essbase, and OneStream, to efficiently analyze and interpret complex financial data for actionable insights.
• Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams situated within both Finance and Controlling departments, fostering an integrated approach to financial operations.
• Operational Exposure: Gain valuable exposure to the intricacies of finance operations specifically within a demanding automotive and manufacturing industry environment, understanding real-world applications.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior or Senior student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Willingness to complete a structured one-year internship program, demonstrating commitment to a significant development opportunity within corporate finance.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, keen attention to detail, and a proactive willingness to learn new concepts and systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with preference for data analysis, formulas, and pivot table proficiency.
• Bonus: Familiarity with advanced finance systems such as Essbase or OneStream; prior professional exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts or experience within the automotive industry.
